McLaren’s Solo helps your organization save time and money by ensuring the right documents are available offline. It provides direct integration within the Desktop Client and Workspace environments, allowing you to export content and metadata onto any distributable media. Solo can be used in a transmittal process, for issuing drawings to a remote site, or for maintaining offline copies of key documents for disaster recovery purposes. A CD, or other offline media, created by Solo can be used as a standalone system, allowing the recipient to search and browse the documents and attributes it contains. Alternatively it can be used to transfer documents between Documentum Content Servers. An optional step in creating a Solo export is to automatically create DocLoader import sheets. Solo integrates with EMC Documentum to export documents and content - including CAD drawings and reference files - from a Content Server to share offline, migrate or archive.
