Validation that “approved documents” are the correct version has become common place now, we have moved beyond questioning whether or not the documents are correct to accepting that they are – this saves us an immeasurable amount of time.

Packages are “how we work” we were immediately at home with the product because we “Work” on projects, “Review” projects, and “Approve” work that has been done on projects. Users can be trained quickly over the phone and are completely comfortable working with the system after one or two experiences.

The documented process is key to “Inspection ready documents” An auditor can come in at any time and demand to see any documentation, the fact that we know we can find any document at anytime gives us enormous confidence.

Security of documents is paramount.  With various groups within the organization, it’s essential that documents can’t be changed by anyone other than the people I say can make changes.

Before we were using our drawings as merely an initial reference on a project, the real work began once we got to the site and begin “fixing” the drawings.  We need to get to a point where we are verifying in the field rather than creating in the field.  When we reach that point we will be saving millions of dollars in labor reduction and projects will be completed at a much faster rate”
