Enterprise Engineer for Assets provides a fully audited quality assurance process
Capital investment projects are set up to create new assets and make major changes to existing assets. For existing assets, when these projects are initiated, a vault liaison will use a Retrieval Package to copy documents “for reference” and “for revision” to the project. These documents are automatically filed in the correct project structure, as defined by the project team.
At the end of the project, these documents are transferred to the Handover Area, where they are reconciled with other copies of the same document that may have been modified by other major or minor projects and checked for quality before being released to the vault. To start this process, a vault liaison creates a Handover Package containing project documents and drawings. A Handover Package is first approved by the Project Manager and then authorized for handover by the Vault Manager. Once a Handover Package has been authorized, copies of the documents are created in the Handover Area.
Working in the Handover Area, the Vault Manager creates a Reconciliation Package to reconcile the differences between documents that may already exist within the vault and the updated project content. A CAD designer or Engineer who is a member of the handover team security group performs the reconciliation task, and a Vault Quality Controller approves the changes. Once the documents are approved, the Vault Manager authorizes the documents enabling them to be released to the vault making them generally available to the company.
EE for Assets provides a fully audited quality assurance process that ensures your business accesses the right document at the right time, resulting in reduced risk of non compliance, improved heath and safety, and minimized exposure to unplanned downtime or rework due to inaccurate content.
