Gimmal
Group signs up as a McLaren Deployment Services Partner
McLaren
Software has signed a Partnership
Agreement with Houston-based systems integrator, the
Gimmal Group, to implement McLaren Enterprise Engineer
within the engineering community.
Gimmal
Group customers will directly benefit from the extensive
functionality available in Enterprise Engineer
applications, faster project implementations, as well as
streamlining future system changes and expansion.

CADLink
and Drawing Manager support for AutoCAD 2004
The
latest release of CADLink,
made available in December last year, now provides
support for AutoCAD 2004, along with support for
Documentum 5.2 Server and Desktop Client.
CADLink
effectively integrates Autodesk AutoCAD® and Bentley
MicroStation™ applications to deliver and manage CAD
drawings, with full reference handling, directly from
the central document management repository.
AutoCAD
2004 support is also available within Enterprise
Engineer - Drawing Manager. Drawing Manager is an
out-of-the-box configurable application that manages CAD
drawings and their lifecycles and automates drawing
office processes in line with your business
requirements.
Drawing
Manager makes it easy to update and replace your
existing drawing management customizations with an
application where change is under user control.

and McLaren Solution Brief
McLaren and Documentum
have just published a joint solution brief. It discusses
how the Documentum platform and McLaren
Enterprise Engineer applications, working

improve productivity and reduce costs through the seamless management of engineering content

New
quality certification for McLaren
McLaren
has been recommended by the British Standards Institute
(BSI) for registration to BS EN ISO 9001:2000 Quality
Management Systems.
The certification covers the design, development,
supply and support of software content management
systems for engineering markets.
McLaren
currently hold a certificate for BS EN ISO 9001:1994. The
new standard provides a mechanism to address a variety
of key business functions including the measurement of
customer satisfaction, leadership and staff involvement
in effective decision making.
